Quick Copy
This mode is designed for speed and efficiency, copying only the used data sectors of a drive rather than the entire disk. It supports multiple file systems, including Windows (FAT16/32, exFAT, NTFS), Linux (ext2, ext3, ext4, LVM), and Mac (HFS, HFS+, HFSX). By focusing solely on the data area and skipping empty spaces, Quick Copy significantly reduces duplication time, making it ideal for situations where you need a fast, yet complete, copy of active data.
Whole Media Copy
This duplication mode is comprehensive, performing a sector-by-sector copy of the entire source drive from beginning to end. Whole Media Copy is particularly useful when you need an exact replica of the original disk, including all data, free space, and any hidden sectors. It ensures that every bit of data is copied, making it ideal for forensic or archival purposes where data integrity and completeness are crucial.
All Partitions Copy
In this mode, all defined partitions on the source drive are duplicated, while any undefined or unallocated areas are skipped. This method is useful when you want to ensure that all structured data, including multiple partitions on a single drive, is copied without duplicating empty or unformatted space. It strikes a balance between speed and completeness, ensuring all necessary data is captured while optimizing the duplication process.
Percentage Copy
This mode provides flexibility by allowing users to specify a percentage of the source drive's capacity to be copied. For example, if you set it to 50%, only half of the drive's content will be duplicated. This can be particularly useful in scenarios where you are only interested in a portion of the drive's data or when managing storage constraints. Percentage Copy gives you control over the duplication process, allowing for a customized copy that fits your specific requirements.
